He was born in 1961 in Gaziantep. He completed his high school education in Gaziantep in 1980 and completed English Language Education at the University of Denver in 1984 in the United States.  In 1987, he began his working life in Sanko Textile Company. He served as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of Sanko Holding between 1992 and 2006. Since 2006, he is the Chairman of the group of compaines (School, Hospital, Cement-Concrete, Yarn-Towel) which are affiliated to Sanko Holding. Served as The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of the Gaziantep College, The Board Member of Gaziantepspor, The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sankospor, The Founding President of the Gaziantep Young Businessmen's Association (GAGİAD), The Chairman of the Southeastern Anatolia Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association, The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Textile Industry Employers' Association and The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Adil Sani Konukoğlu is still serving as The Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sanko Holding, The Council Membership of the  Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), The Deputy Chairman of the Entrepreneurs Committee of the Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone, The Member of the Board of Directors of the Jerusalem Arbitration Center, The Deputy Chairman of the City Council Of Gaziantep, The Board Member of the Silkroad Development Agency (İKA), The Membership of the B20 Turkish Business Leaders Forum and The Member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Development of Gaziantep. He is married and father of three.
