The International Gaziantep Gastronomy Festival “GastroAntep” was held between September 12-15, hosted by the Gaziantep Development Foundation (GAGEV) and the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, with the support of institutions and organizations such as the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Union of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB), the Silk Road Development Agency, TRT, PTT, TIKA, the National Lottery and Turkish Airlines (THY). Gaziantep, which managed to be among the 116 cities in the Creative Cities Network meticulously selected by UNESCO and made its name known to the whole world, held one of the most widely attended festivals in Turkey with the participation of nearly 1,000,0000 visitors, as well as the leading figures of the food and beverage sector from all over our country. The Gaziantep Culinary Culture, which has been created by local producers for many years by preferring the local products of the geography from A to Z, has reached a global vision and consumers with this magnificent festival.
In the festival where local flavors were experienced throughout the festival and signature flavors prepared by local producers with geographical indications were introduced, flavors specific to Gaziantep were reinterpreted on a wide platform by world-famous Michelin Star Chefs, Pastry Chefs, Turkey's Gastronomy Professionals and Chefs, Universities, Gourmets, Gastronomy Writers, Gaziantep Agricultural Producers, representatives of Gaziantep cuisine from different parts of Turkey.
